CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois women's tennis head coach Evan Clark has announced the 2025 fall schedule, with up to 11 events on the docket for the Fighting Illini. For the second time, the fall tournament slate will end with the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships, held separate from the spring team championship. The Illini will host three events at the Atkins Tennis Center throughout the fall.
Illinois' fall action will open at the Atkins Tennis Center with the UTR/PTT Tournament hosted by the Fighting Illini from Sept. 1-9. From there, the squad heads to Greenville, S.C., for the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic slated for Sept. 12-14. The Illini will look to divide and conquer from there, with the ITA All-American Championships (Sept. 20-28), Milwaukee Tennis Classic (Sept. 25-28), and Nebraska Invite (Sept. 26-28) all on the docket.
Both October events will take place at home for the Orange and Blue. The month opens with Illinois hosting another UTR/PTT Tournament at Atkins Tennis Center from Oct. 6-12. Next up, the Fighting Illini will host the ITA Midwest Regional from Oct. 16-21.
Clark's squad has ITA Sectionals (Nov. 6-9), ITA Conference Masters (Nov. 6-9), and the Baylor-hosted H-E-B Invite (Nov. 7-9) slated to open the month of November.
Fall action concludes at the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships in Orlando, Fla., from Nov. 18-23. Illini can qualify for the NCAA Championships through the ITA All-American Championships (10 singles, four doubles), ITA Regional Championships (26 singles, 13 doubles), ITA Conference Masters Championship (four singles, three doubles), and ITA Sectional Championships (24 singles, 12 doubles).
