#24 Illinois Falls to #11 Maryland in Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinals

RECAP

INDIANAPOLIS – No. 24 Illinois fell to No. 11 Maryland, 88-65, in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday night.

Kasparas Jakucionis registered his fifth double-double of the season, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds in his team-leading 24th double-digit scoring effort. He also dished out four assists and made one steal.

Will Riley poured in 15 points while knocking down two 3-pointers, grabbing seven rebounds, and notching an assist.

Scoring in double figures for the 22nd time this season, Kylan Boswell tallied 14 points, his sixth straight game with 10+ points. He also amassed three rebounds, an assist, and a block.

Tre White totaled eight points, two rebounds, an assist, and a steal. Morez Johnson Jr. added six points, nine rebounds, four blocks, two assists, and a steal off the bench.
