WILMINGTON, N.C. – Illinois women's golf finished the Landfall Tradition in 18th place after carding a team total 913 (+49) across the three-day event.
Anna Ritter and Erica Lee both carded final round scores of 77 (+5). Ritter shot 72-73-77 [222 (+6)] for the tournament, tying her for 35th individually. Lee finished with marks of 79-76-77 [232 (+16)] to tie for 69th. Sunday's showing marked Ritter's fifth round leading the Illini this season and Lee's second.
Both Victoria Zheng and Brielle Mapanao shot final rounds of 80 (+8). Zheng tied for 60th place with a final score of 74-72-80 [226 (+10)]. Mapanao shot 79-76-80 [235 (+19)] tying her for 88th.
Freshman Alexis Myers closed things out with a final round of 84 (+12). Myers shot 77-76-84 [237 (+210] and finished tied for 92nd overall.
The Illini will return to action on Feb. 15, where they begin play at the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational at Palm Aire Country Club in Sarasota, Fla.
