Illinois will also host Western Kentucky (Nov. 26), Le Moyne (Nov. 30) and Bellarmine (Dec. 2) before kicking off the Big Ten schedule on Dec. 6 versus Indiana, and rounding out the calendar year playing North Texas (Dec. 14) and Jackson State (Dec. 19). The Illini will host nine of their conference opponents, starting with Indiana and ending with Minnesota on March 1.

Illinois enters Year 4 under head coach Shauna Green and has compiled a 38-11 record at home over the last three seasons, including four upsets of AP top-25 ranked teams: No. 12 Iowa (1/1/23), No. 14 Indiana (2/19/24), No. 19 Florida State (11/7/24), and No. 23 Iowa (1/9/25).

In three seasons under Green, the Illinois women's basketball team has registered 63 wins, the first-ever postseason championship in program history (2024 WBIT), and three consecutive top-5 season attendances in State Farm Center. Additionally, the Illini have racked up six AP Top 25-ranked wins, secured double-digit home victories for three straight seasons for the first time in program history, won Illinois' first NCAA Tournament game in 25 seasons, and brought in the No. 7-ranked recruiting class by espnW coming in for the 2025-26 campaign.
