CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – With the start of the 2024-25 Fighting Illini men's basketball season just around the corner, the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics announces a number of changes and enhancements to game day at State Farm Center to make the experience better for Illinois fans, along with the promotions schedule for the season.

90-MINUTE GATES OPEN: This season, gates at State Farm Center will open 90 minutes prior to tipoff for all seats, to help aid in the arrival of capacity crowds. Previously there was a staggered entrance time for premium seats, students, and the general public, but now all fans will be able to enter at the same time.

ILLINI HOUR: With the new early gate times, Illinois Athletics will offer Illini Hour, similar to Memorial Stadium. For the first 60 minutes of gates open, hot dogs and non-alcoholic beverages will be just $3 and domestic 24 oz. beers will be $7.

IN-GAME PROMOTIONS: Illinois will introduce two new in-game features for fans. Now after each made three-pointer, Fighting Illini cheerleaders will launch t-shirts into the stands with "T's for Threes" sponsored by Toyota. Additionally, Kam's will now sponsor "Charge, No Charge". If an Illini player successfully takes a charge in a game, Kam's will offer no cover charge for two hours following the conclusion of the home game.

SEASON TICKET HOLDER CONCESSIONS DISCOUNT: As was done at Memorial Stadium, men's basketball season ticket holders who renewed their tickets by July 26 will have 10% off concessions during the 2024-25 season (not available during Illini Hour or at third-party vendor stands). I FUND members will continue to receive a 15% discount using the same code delivered prior to the football season.

NEW LOCAL VENDORS: State Farm Center welcomes two new vendors to the concessions lineup. Chick-fil-A and Smith Burgers will host stands in the upper concourse, and Nothing Bundt Cakes will have a presence in the Traditions Club.

CLUB 53 EXPANSION: With the addition of the second row of courtside seating last season, the need to grow Club 53 was a priority. The space itself has grown to include space just outside the tunnel run, while a carving action station has also been added to provide more menu options for fans.

LEGACY CLUB: Fans with Legacy Club tickets, will find new offerings in the concessions space with hot carved sandwiches each game. A number of sandwich options will be available including hot pastrami, Cuban and gourmet grilled cheese.

MIRROR BALL: Pregame starting lineups got flashier for 2024-25 with the installation of a mirror ball lighting effect at State Farm Center.
