Quincy Guerrier recorded back-to-back double-doubles last week in the Fighting Illini's victories at Michigan and vs. Rutgers. Guerrier now has a team-leading seven double-doubles on the season. His week began with a 16-point, 14-rebound effort in the Illini's 88-73 road win in Ann Arbor on Thursday. He then posted 15 points and 11 rebounds to help Illinois to an 86-63 home win over Rutgers on Sunday afternoon. Guerrier has scored in double figures in nine of his last 10 games and has tallied 10+ rebounds in five of his last seven contests.
A native of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Guerrier is a graduate student at the University of Illinois pursuing his Masters in Recreation, Sport, & Tourism. He holds a 3.89 GPA and is involved as a SAAC Representative.
