Illini Wrap Up Round One Play at Schooner Fall Classic

NORMAN, Okla. – The Illinois women's golf team opened the Schooner Fall Classic tied for 14th after carding an 18-hole team total of 295 (+15) heading into Saturday's second round at Belmar Golf Club.
Freshman Erica Lee and Isabel Sy led the way for the Illini, with the duo each carding a first-round 72 (+2). Lee and Sy are both tied for 34th.
Anna Ritter is tied for 65th after her opening round 75 (+5). Sophia Sulkar and Elizabeth Beek are tied for 71st after their opening rounds of 76 (+6).
Wake Forest leads the field after carding a team total of 270 (+10) and the Demon Deacons' Carolina Lopez-Chacarra leads individually at 7-under (63).
Saturday's second round tee times begin at 9:00 a.m. CT.
