
Six Illini Named to CSCAA Scholar All-American Honors

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Six Illinois swim and dive athletes were named College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-Americans, as the organization announced today. Senior diver Erin Young, junior swimmer Cara Bognar, junior divers Brooke Michael, Taylor Michael, sophomore swimmer Sydney Stoll and freshman swimmer Sara Jass.
All six women were named to Second-Team Scholar All-American honors since they all carried a GPA of 3.50 or higher and met the "B" time/score standard criteria. To be named to the First-Team honors they must meet the "A" time/score standard criteria and compete in the national championships. In total 1,201 Division I students were honored, 721 women and 480 men.
