CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Big Ten Conference revealed the complete bracket for the 2023 Big Ten Softball Tournament that will be held May 10-13 at Eichelberger Field on Sunday. The Fighting Illini were granted the 12-seed and will face off against the fifth-seeded Wisconsin Badgers on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Fighting Illini softball closed out the regular season with a 28-26 overall record and a 6-16 mark in league play. Wisconsin completed the regular season going 27-19 overall while owning a 12-10 record in conference action. The Illini are 1-2 against the Badgers this season, topping Wisconsin 6-4 during a contest in Madison, Wis., earlier this year.
All 11 games of this year's Big Ten Tournament will not only be televised live to a national audience on the Big Ten Network, but will also be available on the FOX Sports app.
