CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – No. 24-ranked Illinois men's tennis sophomore Karlis Ozolins has earned his second-straight Big Ten Tennis Athlete of the Week honor after his performance against Michigan State and Michigan. 

• Posted a 3-0 record (2-0 singles, 1-0 doubles) rallying from a set down to beat a pair of top-50 opponents

• Rallied to defeat 41st-ranked Ozan Baris in No. 1 singles by the scores of 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 to clinch match point in a 6-1 win over No. 66 Michigan State

• Knocked off 11th-ranked Andrew Fenty of Michigan, 6-7, 6-3, 7-5, at No. 1 singles in Ann Arbor on April 23

• Moved up from No. 48 to No. 23 in the ITA singles rankings
