Big Ten Release

Champaign, ILL.– The Big Ten Conference has revealed a breakdown of all 14 schools' conference opponents for the 2022-23 men's basketball season. Big Ten teams will once again compete in a 20-game conference schedule, playing seven teams both home and away and six teams once (three home and three away).

Here is the breakdown of Illinois' opponents for the 2023 Big Ten schedule:

Home & Away – Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin
Home Only – Michigan, Michigan State, Rutgers
Away Only – Iowa, Maryland, Purdue

Illinois Basketball season ticket renewals and new season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at FightingIllini.com. Illinois is the reigning Big Ten Champion after going 15-5 in league play last season to win its first regular season title since 2005. Illinois has posted a 44-16 record in conference play over the last three years, the winningest stretch in program history.
