CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics, in conjunction with Gameday Spirit Fan Store, will host a Fighting Illini merchandise sale this Saturday, April 23, in the Great West Hall of Memorial Stadium. Shoppers will be able to purchase used University of Illinois team-issued gear in addition to new officially-licensed Fighting Illini clothing and souvenirs at discount prices.

The sale will run from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Free parking will be available in the northwest State Farm Center parking lot at the corner of Kirby Avenue and First Street. Fans should enter the sale through Gate 10 towards the north end of the facility. There is no admission charge to attend the sale.

Normally held twice a year, the sales have historically coincided with Illinois spring football practice and the winter holiday season. The annual Spring Football Game is Thursday, April 21 at 6:30 p.m. The merchandise sale will not be held as a part of the game, but will now be Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
