URBANA, Ill. – Homegrown Restaurant at the Atkins Golf Club in Urbana is now open for dinner service. The farm-to-table restaurant will open Tuesdays through Saturday from 5-9 p.m. Dinner reservations are highly recommended. The restaurant is part of the $7 million renovation of the Atkins Golf Club, which has taken place over the last 18 months.

Homegrown is managed and run by St. Joseph, Illinois' Wheelhouse owners Abbie and Ryan Rogiers. The farm-to-table concept restaurant focuses on locally grown and raised ingredients. The menu includes tasty cuisine such as marcoot creamery herb and garlic cheese curds, buttermilk chicken wings, Cuban Rueben, grass fed beef stew, and a 16-oz. ribeye.

The Rogiers have owned the Wheelhouse since May 2017.  Natives of St. Joe's, they returned home to East Central Illinois to raise their family and serve high-quality farm-to-table cuisine. In time Homegrown will be serving organic ingredients grown on a plot of land right inside the Stone Creek Subdivision.

Homegrown anticipates increasing the hours, to include both lunch and dinner, and days of operation at in March.
