Friday – Mixed Fourball
Despite a long day which included two weather delays, Dumont de Chassart and teammate Agathe Laisne (Paris, France), a senior from the University of Texas, put a point on the board for Team International in mixed fourball action. The team caught fire on Holes 7-10 with four consecutive birdies to gain the advantage over Wake Forest's Rachel Keuhn and NC State's Benjamin Shipp, en route to 4&3 victory. Despite the win by Dumont de Chassart and Laisne, the two teams split 12 matches on the day and were knotted at 6-6 heading into the first of two rounds on Saturday.
Saturday Morning – Foursomes
Dumont de Chassart and his teammate, San Diego State senior Puwit Anupansuebsai (Nakhon Phanom, Thailand), tallied another point for Team International during Saturday morning's foursome matches. After trailing by three holes through eight, the duo stormed back to tie the match with a birdie on No. 14. A par finish on No. 16 pushed them ahead of their opponents – Shipp and Oklahoma Christian senior Trevor Norby – before a birdie on No. 18 secured the victory, 2-up. The win helped Team International claim a narrow 6.5-5.5 edge in the round to pushed the overall score to 12.5-11.5.
Saturday Afternoon – Mixed Foursomes
Saturday afternoon brought another weather delay during the mixed foursomes matches, and also changed the tide of the event, as Team USA finished the round with an 8.5-3.5 lead to stake to a 20-16 edge heading into the final round. Dumont de Chassart, paired once again with Laisne, held an early lead over Clemson's Jacob Bridgeman and Northwestern's Irene Kim, but with the match tied through 13 holes, the International pair were unable to keep pace with birdies by the American duo on No. 5 and 6 and the match concluded 2&1.
Sunday - Singles
Sunday's singles action saw Dumont de Chassart pitted against Georgia's Trevor Phillips. After dropping the first hole, Dumont de Chassart notched back-to-back birdies on 2 and 3 to gain a one hole lead. Phillips birdied No. 8 to pull even, and won four of the next seven holes to claim the match, 4&3. Team USA finished the round with a 13-11 edge to re-claim the Palmer Cup for the first time since 2019.
