Urbana, Ill. – The Fighting Illini are on to Orlando after soundly defeating Notre Dame 4-0 on Saturday afternoon. Illinois came out with energy and focused. They earned the doubles point with wins on courts two and three.
"I still want to give a lot of credit to DePaul from yesterday, they really sharpened us up to where we needed to be today in doubles, " said head coach Brad Dancer. "I'm just really proud of our guys for really being focused all day today. When Kova is bouncing around and AB is bouncing around we are a good team. Now let's go down to Florida and keep playing our best tennis."
