No. 11 Illinois dominated St. Francis (Ill.) in an exhibition game Saturday night at State Farm Center, winning 101-34.

Coach Brad Underwood was able to experiment with a number of different lineups throughout the evening, as 11 players logged double-digit minutes with 13 tallying at least eight minutes.

Five Illini scored in double figures, led by Kofi Cockburn, who scored 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting, and Austin Hutcherson, who matched Cockburn with 14 points on 5-of-7 from the field.

Coleman Hawkins had 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting, Andre Curbelo scored 11, and Trent Frazier added 10.

Illinois dominated the glass, outrebounding St. Francis 50-24. Hutcherson had a game-high seven rebounds while Cockburn grabbed six boards despite playing less than 15 minutes.

The Illini had 16 steals on the night, led by Frazier's game-high six steals.

Illinois shot 58.2%, connecting on 39-of-67 attempts. The Illini did plenty of damage around the basket, overwhelming the Saints with a 56-6 advantage in points in the paint and converting 13 offensive rebounds into 20 points.

Illinois' defense was even more impressive than its offense, holding St. Francis to just 24.5% shooting (13-53) and forcing the Saints into 26 turnovers.

Illinois went on an early 9-0 run to take an 11-2 lead out of the gate, and heated up by making 12 of 14 shots to blow the game open at 35-10.

Frazier put an exclamation point on the first half, scoring on a layup and recording two steals that the Illini converted into baskets as part of six unanswered points in the final 37 seconds to make it 51-18 at intermission.

The Illini picked up right where they left off after the break, opening the second half with eight straight points to open up a 41-point lead. Illinois later held St. Francis scoreless for a 7:03 stretch, going on a 14-0 run turn it into a rout at 73-21 near the 10-minute mark.

Illinois rested its starters the remainder of the game, with the reserves continuing to pour it on. The lead grew to as many as 69 with two minutes to go, and the Illini eclipsed the century mark on their final shot attempt, with Brandin Podziemski draining a 3-pointer.

Illinois returns to action Friday at 7 p.m., hosting Indiana (Pa.) in its final exhibition game.
