
Illinois Alumni Team Accepted into TBT's 24-Team Field

The Basketball Tournament (TBT) – the $1 million, winner-take-all summer basketball event broadcast live on ESPN networks – revealed today that House of 'Paign, the University of Illinois alumni team, has been admitted into TBT's 24-team field. All TBT games this summer will be played under quarantine at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, from July 4-14.
House of 'Paign is organized by former Illinois guard Mike LaTulip (2012-16), who also will coach the team. The current roster includes the following former Illini:
- Andres Feliz (2018-20)
- Leron Black (2014-18)
- Michael Finke (2014-18)
- Malcolm Hill (2013-17)
- Nnanna Egwu (2011-15)
- Cory Bradford (1997-02)
In addition, the following players are featured on the House of 'Paign roster:
- Mike Daum (South Dakota State)
- Matt Mooney (Texas Tech)
- Kyle Vinales (Central Connecticut State)
No. 16 seed House of 'Paign will take on No. 17 seed War Tampa in the first round of the single-elimination event on July 4. If House of 'Paign advances to the second round, it would face TBT's defending champion and 2020 top-seeded Carmen's Crew (Ohio State alumni) on July 8.
All game times and TV broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
TBT's opening round will take place July 4-5. The quarterfinals will be held July 10-11 with the semifinals July 12. The 2020 TBT Championship Game will be played July 14, when one player will hit a shot to win his team $1 million.
