Illinois' best and brightest student-athletes are honored every year at the Fighting Illini Oskee Awards, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic that ended the 2019-20 athletic seasons early, this year's event was canceled. Even without the Oskee Awards celebration, we're still celebrating both the academic and on-field achievements of Fighting Illini student-athletes.
In addition to the academic awards below, which were announced this week, winners for four major awards will be announced next week on @IlliniAthletics and on fightingillini.com:

Female and male student-athletes with the highest grade-point average in each class of school

» Sophomore Female: Lauren Katz, Track & Field - 4.00, elementary education
» Sophomore Male: Connor Artman, Track & Field - 3.97, finance
» Junior Female: Kylie Noonan, Gymnastics - 4.00, information systems
