Citizen Naismith Trophy Midseason Team
The Atlanta Tipoff Club announced Thursday the 30 midseason candidates for the 2020 Citizen Naismith Trophy Men's Player of the Year.
The list is highlighted by Fighting Illini sophomore guard Ayo Dosunmu. The Chicago native is one of seven Big Ten players on the list, and one of 13 underclassmen. Ten semifinalists will be announced on March 5, and the finalists will be revealed on March 17. The winner of the 2020 Citizen Naismith Trophy for Men's Player of the Year will be announced on April 5 at the Naismith Awards Brunch in Atlanta.
