Illinois Commencement | @IlliniAthletics | #ILLINOIS2019
CHAMPAIGN-URBANA, Ill. – During the 2018-19 academic year, a total of 91 Fighting Illini student-athletes will earn degrees from the University of Illinois, including 64 this spring. Many Illini already earned degrees in December and many more are on track complete their course work in August. Spring commencement ceremonies are taking place across campus May 10-12.

Commencement weekend is the culmination of another excellent year in the classroom for Illinois student-athletes. The combined GPA for all U of I student-athletes last spring was a 3.16, and the GPA from last fall was a 3.15, making it 17-straight semesters of a combined GPA over 3.0. In the fall 2017 semester, 40 student-athletes earned perfect 4.0 GPAs and 61 percent of Illinois student-athletes earned a 3.0 GPA or higher.
