Legendary Illinois basketball coach Lou Henson was one of 21 all-time Illini greats inducted into the Illinois Athletics Hall of Fame on Sept. 22, 2018. Prior to the ceremony, Coach Henson taped his acceptance speech, but while on stage, he stepped to the microphone for an impromptu speech. Coach Henson and his family asked to share his taped comments since they were not heard at the ceremony.
