CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Illinois and head coach Evan Clark have announced the signing of both Ashley Yeah and Josie Frazier to the Fighting Illini women's tennis program. The pair will join the Orange and Blue for the 2019-20 campaign.
"We are very excited to welcome Ashley and Josie to the Fighting Illini Women's Tennis family," Clark said. "Our program got a great deal better quickly with these two additions. We continue to be fortunate enough to land high caliber tennis players, but more importantly land well rounded, high character and humble individuals to our program. We feel very honored that they chose the University of Illinois and for trusting us with the next stages of their academic and tennis careers. They both are very eager to add to the success we had last year and to continue to watch and be responsible for our program's elevation in the future. They both understand how special the University of Illinois is and we can't wait to see what they do once they start competing for the Illini."

Josie's athleticism and work ethic is something special, but what we love most is that she is a great competitor. She figures out ways to win and she will thrive in the women's college tennis setting. Josie is a player that has shown tremendous growth in a short period of time so we can't wait to watch her development as an Illini. We can't wait to get her in the orange and blue."
