The Illinois men's basketball season opener is one month away, but the Fighting Illini are already hard at work preparing for the upcoming 2018-19 campaign. Illini fans can get an early look at Coach Brad Underwood's second squad this Homecoming weekend. Illinois will hold an open practice on Saturday from 8-11 a.m. at the Ubben Basketball Complex. Fans can watch from the balcony overlooking the men's gym on the east side of the complex.

Following practice, the Illini basketball team will hold an autograph session in Grange Grove from 11:30-Noon, followed by the 12:15 p.m. Illini Walk arrival of the football team prior to its 2:30 p.m. Homecoming game vs. Purdue.

Parking lots open at 7 a.m. as part of the normal football game day procedure. Passes are required for admittance to all parking lots adjacent to Ubben. Game-day purchase parking is available in Research Park and to the east of Ubben off St. Mary's Drive (lot 46 and 47) and Florida Ave (lot 49).
