» Release: Illinois Makes Leadership Change with Men's Basketball

Champaign, Ill. – University of Illinois Director of Athletics Josh Whitman announced Saturday that John Groce has been relieved of his duties as head men's basketball coach effective immediately.

Both Whitman and Groce met with the media on Saturday.
