Illini Men's Basketball Walks for Wishes
September 19, 2016 | Men's Basketball, Hometown Heroes
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Fighting Illini men's basketball team took part in the 2016 Walk & Run for Wishes event at Hessel Park in Champaign on Sept. 17.
Walk & Run for Wishes is a costumed family fun run and walk to benefit Make-A-Wish® Illinois. The event helps raise money to make wishes come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions in Illinois. A wish come true helps children feel stronger, more energetic, more willing and able to battle their life-threatening medical conditions.

Blessed I was able to be apart of the Make-A-Wish-Walk yesterday morning for the 4th consecutive year. Always a great feeling giving back!
