NBA veteran Deron William's had a resurgence with the Mavericks in 2015-16, his 11th overall NBA season and first back in his hometown of Dallas.
The point guard averaged 14.1 points, 5.8 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 0.9 steals in 65 games for the Mavs, who finished 42-40 overall and earned the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference playoffs. He scored a season-high 31 points and dished out a season-high 16 assists in a win over Portland on March 20. He hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer to beat Sacramento on Jan. 5.
Williams was the 3rd overall pick by Utah in the 2006 NBA Draft after playing three seasons at Illinois and leading the Illini to the 2005 National Championship Game. He is a three-time NBA All-Star (2010-12) and helped USA Basketball win two Olympic Gold Medals (2008, 2012).
