Illini volleyball radio play-by-play announcer Dave Loane looks back on November 19, 1986, when the 12th-ranked Illinois volleyball team came back to defeat league-leading Purdue, 3-1, in Kenney Gym to earn the program's first-ever Big Ten Championship. The 2016 season represents the 30th anniversary of that championship.
