Champaign, Ill. – The Fighting Illini marketing staff is pleased to announce the promotional schedule for the 2015 volleyball season. The Orange and Blue will kick off the season on a high note with the 10th annual Stuff Huff event, while the highly-touted IlliNOISE Night will return for a second season on Oct. 9.

A definite fan favorite, Stuff Huff is scheduled for opening night on Aug. 28, when the Orange and Blue kick off the season against Louisville as part of the Illini Classic. The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. when Illinois students are invited to a pre-match carnival in the grass area to the south of Huff Hall. The event will feature inflatables, food, Illini giveaways and more.

After a five-week hiatus from Huff, the Fighting Illini will finally return to Champaign on Oct. 9 to host two-time defending national champion Penn State live on Big Ten Network. The Illini's Big Ten home opener will feature the second-annual IlliNOISE Night promotion. On Oct. 4, 2014, a soldout crowd of 4,536 screaming Illini fans hit a decibel reading of 105 dB on the first-ever IlliNOISE Night, and this year's goal is to get even louder. The match will also be the Stripe Huff event, where each section will be designated as either a blue or an orange area. A color-coded seating chart will be published prior to the event so fans will know which color to wear.

The Illini will host two additional fan color nights, as we will Paint Huff Orange on Saturday, Oct. 17, against Nebraska and on Saturday, Nov. 7, fans are encouraged Paint Huff Blue against Northwestern.

Friday, Oct. 30, will be the Illini's annual Breast Cancer Awareness Match. The Fighting Illini will sport special pink jerseys during the match, which the Illini Networkers will auction off as part of a fundraiser to help support cancer research. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support for those struggling with cancer, and information about donating to the cause will be provided in the weeks leading up to the match.

Celebrate Halloween with the Illini at 7 p.m. on Oct. 31, when fans of all ages are invited to show off their costumes and get some free candy as the Illini take on Michigan.

The Orange and Blue will host a Team/Youth Night on Oct. 16 and again on Nov. 7. Gather your teammates or reunite with your friends from Illini summer camp when the Illini take on Iowa and Northwestern.

Bring your dad to the match against Rutgers on Saturday, Nov. 14, as part of the University of Illinois' Dad's Weekend. With Illini football hosting Ohio State that day, volleyball will once again grant free admission with your football ticket stub (while seats are available). That weekend will also play host to the 2015 Volleyball Reunion, as Illini Volleyball alumni from all past seasons are invited to return to Champaign for a weekend full of events, including on-court recognition at the Rutgers match.

The final home match of the season is Nov. 21 against Indiana, when the Fighting Illini family will bid farewell to another senior class on Senior Night.

As in past seasons, the Fighting Illini will be available after nearly every match to sign autographs in the southwest corner of Huff Hall. Pick up a free 2015 season poster or bring something of your own to have signed by your favorite players.
