Orange Krush Grant Application | Illini Pride
Orange Krush, the student support group of the Fighting Illini basketball team, has earned national acclaim for its work as a charity foundation. Each fall, Orange Krush distributes the money it raised from the previous basketball season. In 2012, the Orange Krush Foundation allocated a total of $150,000 across 61 charities and toward the endowment of Lou Henson Coaching Development Fund. Since its inception in 1988, the Orange Krush Foundation has donated more than $2.5 million to charity.
Orange Krush is accepting grant applications for this fall, with a deadline of Monday, Aug. 12. Any organization that qualifies as a 501C-3 is eligible to apply. Interested organizations should visit IlliniPride.com to download the grant application, or email Ryan Gant for more information.
