Orange & Blue Scrimmage - Total Statistics in PDF Format 
Illinois held its annual Orange & Blue Scrimmage Sunday afternoon in front of 6,027 fans at the Assembly Hall. The Fighting Illini played three 8-minute quarters followed by a fourth quarter that lasted six minutes. The rosters rotated each quarter, allowing for a number of different lineup combinations (see below for lineups by quarter). The Blue team won all four quarters, defeating the Orange team by scores of 18-16, 21-13, 20-14 and 16-13.
Orange & Blue Scrimmage Highlights
Freshman Meyers Leonard led all scorers with 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting. Leonard was one of eight Illini who scored in double figures on the afternoon. Mike Davis also topped the 20-point marker, finishing with 21 points. Davis registered his usual double-double, tallying a game-high 11 rebounds. Mike Tisdale joined Davis in the double-double club, finishing with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
D.J. Richardson scored 17 points and hit a game-high four 3-pointers. Demetri McCamey totaled 15 points to go along with game highs of eight assists and three steals. Brandon Paul added 12 points and matched McCamey with three steals. Jereme Richmond, meanwhile, equaled McCamey with a game-high eight assists while adding 11 points and two blocked shots. Crandall Head also scored 11 points on efficient 5-of-7 shooting.
Rounding out the scoring, Tyler Griffey has six points while Bill Cole and Joseph Bertrand scored two points apiece. Bertrand also dished out four assists.
Illinois returns to the Assembly Hall on Friday, Oct. 29, facing Lewis in an exhibition game at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed live on BigTenNetwork.com.
