9. Illini guard Deron Williams recorded assists on eight of Illinois' 10 first-half field goals. He also was good for assists on the first seven Illini buckets. At 16:18 in the second half, James Augustine recorded an assist, marking the first assist of the game by a player other than Deron Williams.

10. Williams now has 161 assists for the season, which ranks eighth on Illinois' single-season assist list, passing Dee Brown's 2003 total of 159.
