1. The Illini set an Assembly Hall attendance record with the largest basketball crowd in school history, 16,865.

2. Illinois remained undefeated with its 70-59 win over the 20th-ranked Badgers. The season record improves to 25-0, the nation's longest current winning streak, and 13-0 at Assembly Hall. The Illini have now won 21 consecutive Big Ten contests.

3. Illinois' 25 consecutive wins ties the longest winning streak in school history.

4. The 11-0 Big Ten start is the third-best in school history, behind two 12-0 starts in 1914-15 and 1942-43.

5. Illinois has now posted a 64-2 record at Assembly Hall over the last four-plus years, for a winning percentage of 97 percent. The Illini have won 41 of their last 43 Big Ten games at the Hall (.953).

6. With the win over No. 20/21 Wisconsin today, Illinois defeated its seventh ranked opponent this season. The Illini are now 10-5 over Top-25 foes under head coach Bruce Weber.

7. The three Illini guards picked up the scoring load in the second half. Luther Head (16), Dee Brown (13) and Deron Williams (10) combined for 39 of Illinois' 43 second half points. Head led the team in scoring and rebounds with 26 points and eight boards.

8. The Illini were solid free-throw shooters against the Badgers, making a season-best 18-of-19 for 94.7 percent accuracy. In the last five minutes of play, the Illini were perfect on 10 free throw attempts. Free-throw shooting made the difference in the ball game as both teams had equal number of field goals (22) and three pointers (8).

9. Luther Head scored 26 points to improve to 34th on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,095 career points. With his double-digit scoring output vs. Wisconsin, Head has now hit 10 or more points in 23-of-25 games this season (Arkansas, 8, and Ohio State, 7). He has reached the 20-point mark for the ninth time this year.

10. With 26 points scored, senior Luther Head tied his season-high. He also had 26 against Northwestern on Jan. 15. Head established a new career-high in free throws made with 12, besting his seven made against Indiana on March 12, 2004 (also set new career high in free throw attempts with 13, previous best was nine attempts vs. Memphis in 2003). He also posted a season-high eight rebounds, tying an eight-board performance against Cincinnati on Dec. 31.

11. Deron Williams' 15 points moved him to 45th on Illinois' all-time scoring list, giving him 945 points total.

12. Dee Brown's four three pointers moved him into fifth place on the school's all-time three point list with 182. Brown's next target is Kiwane Garris' fourth-place mark of 189. With 16 points against Wisconsin, he improves to 26th on the career scoring list, passing Kevin Turner, with 1,153 total points.

13. With a final score of 70-59, Illinois held its opponent to under 60 points for the game for the 10th time this season.

14. At the half, Wisconsin had scored just 26 points marking the third straight game the Illini have held their opponent under the 30-point mark at intermission, and the 15th time this season. The Illini led the Badgers at the half (27-26), which is the 23rd time this season in 25 contests Illinois has had a halftime lead.

15. The Illini only trailed in today's game against Wisconsin for 2:07 (1:45 in the first five minutes of the game). For the season, Illinois has only trailed 85:19 out of 1,005 possible minutes played.

16. Illinois edged Wisconsin in the steal department with nine to the Badger's seven. The Illini have out-stolen every Big Ten opponent this year. Illinois has also recorded nine or more steals in 10 contest this season.
