NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Ticket Information

The following ticket policies will be in effect as the Illinois men's basketball team competes in the 2004 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament:


REGIONAL (in Atlanta, Ga.)
Tickets will be available on a limited basis to I Fund members and University of Illinois student season ticket holders. Fans may also visit the www.NCAASports.com website for specific ticket information.

On Monday, March 22, Atlanta Regional tickets will be available to order on a limited basis as follows. Placement of an order does not guarantee tickets will be available.

U of I Students
Only University of Illinois student season ticket holders can place orders on Monday, March 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Orders will be taken for all-session tickets for UI student season tickets holders with a limit of one per season ticket holder with a valid UI ID. Placement of an order does not guarantee tickets will be available. Students may order tickets in person at the Assembly Hall or by phone at 1-866-ILLINI-1 (credit card only). Student seating will be based on the priority points that were used for assigning student season tickets. If more student season ticket holders order tickets than are available, a list of the students whose orders cannot be filled will be posted on www.fightingillini.com under the Tournament Central link on Tuesday, March 23 at 9 a.m.

I FUND Loyalty Circle, Block I Council and Tribal Council Members:
Monday, March 22 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Loyalty Circle, Block I and Tribal Council I FUND members in good standing may place an order for up to two all-session tickets. Placement of an order does not guarantee tickets will be available. I FUND members may order tickets in person at the Assembly Hall or by phone at 1-866-ILLINI-1 (credit card only). I FUND orders will be filled by total points within each club level. Since the number of tickets is limited, demand is expected to exceed supply. The Ticket Office will phone or e-mail those customers whose orders cannot be filled. Calls will take place from approximately 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 22.

I FUND Chief Club, Warrior Club, Brave Club and Tomahawk Club Members:
In the event that tickets remain after Loyalty Circle, Block I Council and Tribal Council sales, orders will be taken on Tuesday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Chief Club, Warrior Club, Brave Club and Tomahawk Club I FUND members in good standing. There is a limit of two all-session tickets per customer. Placement of an order does not guarantee tickets will be available.

General season ticket holders who are not I FUND members: In the event that tickets remain after the I FUND member and student season ticket holder sale, a sale will be held Tuesday, March 23 from 2-5 p.m. for general public season ticket holders. There is a limit of two all-session tickets per customer and orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Placement of an order does not guarantee tickets will be available.

NCAA Regional tickets are good for all sessions. Any tickets purchased through the University of Illinois will be for all sessions only with the price of each ticket at $110. Tickets can be ordered by phone at 1-866-ILLINI-1 or in person at the Assembly Hall. Payment is required at the time the order is placed. There will be no "hold" orders and no mail orders will be accepted. No tickets will be mailed. Further details regarding ticket pickup will be given at the time the order is placed.


Tour Information:
The UI Alumni Association will be organizing alumni and student trip packages for the NCAA Regional tournament. The tour packages will include air and land transportation and hotel accommodations. Tickets are not included as part of this travel package.
