  1. After Florida A&M scored the first bucket of the game, Illinois went on a 19-0 scoring run.
  2. Dee Brown recorded his 43rd career double-digit scoring game with his 20 points vs. the Rattlers.
  3. With a victory over the Rattlers, Illinois extended its non-conference win streak to 33 games.
  4. The Illini are now 53-2 over last four-plus years at Assembly Hall.
  5. With 91 points scored, the Illini hit the 90-point mark for the fourth time under head coach Bruce Weber.
  6. Dee Brown was 8-of-10 from the field vs. FAMU and 5-of-6 in the season opener for an .812 shooting percentage this season (13-of-16). From three point range, Brown is shooting 80 percent with consecutive 4-of-5 performances.
  7. Of Illinois 32 field goals made today, 22 came off assists (.688).
  8. All five of Illinois' starters scored in double digits, for the first time in the Weber era.
  9. The Illini shot over 50 percent for the second straight game (.654 vs. Delaware State). The Illini are 20-0 when shooting over 45 percent for the game.
  10. Illinois outrebounded FAMU, 46-33, and for the 22nd time under Weber. The Illini are 18-4 when winning the rebounding category.
  11. Today's game was Illinois' first all-time appearance against the Florida A&M Rattlers, the 249th different opponent in school history. Illinois is now 206-43 in the first games of the series against each of those 249 opponents.
  12. At the 3:35 mark of the second half, freshman Shaun Pruitt scored his first points as an Illini with a field goal and a bonus free throw. He also had five rebounds, which topped his two boards recorded against Delaware State.
