Illinois-California game cancelled

Sacramento, Calif. - The last game of the Capital Classic featuring Illinois and No. 6 California was cancelled due to rain. Illinois finishess the tournament with a 3-1 record, improving its overall mark to 17-5. The Illini begin their home schedule on Wednesday with a doubleheader at Eichelberger Field.
