Arnold was a true fan of Illinois athletics and would be happy to know that you helped to perpetuate his legacy. Through the generosity of people, like you, who feel a sense of appreciation for what Arnold meant to the University of Illinois, we will be able to increase the level of our athletic endowment. This endowment is dedicated to providing scholarships for student athletes and will continue in perpetuity. Arnold's name will be along side others who shared a love for the University of Illinois athletic teams and whose friends and relatives thought that this type of honor would be appropriate remembrance for those who displayed such loyalty.
