Leadership Academy

Fighting Illini Leadership: Values Into Action is a collaboration between the National Center of Professional Research Ethics (NCPRE) and the DIA to revitalize leadership programs for Illini student-athletes.

With a focus on helping Illini student-athletes become leaders on and off the field, the program is centered on the refinement of your personal values to help guide your leadership development and decision-making skills, especially when the choices are tough.

Future Illini Leaders (All First-Year Fighting Illini)

All incoming Illini will learn the foundation of values-based leadership and their own leadership style; how to articulate and live out your values, whether that is in sports or in life.

Five, 75 minute sessions; three per semester presented by C.K. Gunsalus and colleagues of the NCPRE with DIA staff.
