2014 Summer

  • Tied for sixth at the Sunnehanna Amateur

Sophomore - 2013-14

  • Third on the team with a 70.88 stroke average, including a low round of 66 (-6) at the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational and a low 54-hole score of 202 (-8) at The Macdonald Cup
  • Has three top-10 finishes and seven top-25 finishes in the eight tournaments that he qualified for the individual standings (withdrew from the first round of Isleworth but played in final two rounds, firing 72-66)
  • Has a team-high 14 rounds under par on the season, with five even-par rounds
  • 23 of his 26 rounds (88.46 percent) have counted in the Illini's team score this season
  • Had the second-best fall stroke average on the team, 70.55, in 11 rounds, including a low 18 of 66 (-4) and a low 54 of 202 (-8)
  • Earning Co-Big Ten Golfer of the Week honors with teammate Thomas Detry on March 12 after the duo tied for second at Louisiana Classics with a 7-under-par 209
  • Tied for 12th at the 3M Augusta Invitational with a 2-under 214
  • Posted a 1-under 212 to tie for 15th at the Valspar Invitational
  • Tied for 16th at the Boilermaker Invitational with a 4-over-par 220
  • Tied for 20th at the USF Invitational to start the spring season, notching a 4-under-par 212
  • Finished third at The Macdonald Cup with a 202 (-8), including a 66 in the second round
  • Placed fourth at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate with a 215 (+2)
  • Missed the first round of the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational with a back injury but recovered to fire rounds of 72-66 for a two-round total of 138 (-6) on the tournament's last two days, with the 66 serving as the best score of the final round
  • Posted four rounds under par and three rounds of even par during the fall.

2013 Summer

  • Finished second at the 2013 Wisconsin State Amateur, falling to Oklahoma State's Jordan Niebrugge by one stroke
  • Qualified for the 2013 U.S. Amateur, advancing to the match-play portion and winning his first match to reach to the round of 16.

Freshman 2012-13

  • Finished fourth on the team with a 73.35 stroke average
  • Earned PING honorable mention All-America honors by finishing tied for 13th at the NCAA Championships with a 54-hole score of 4-under-par 206, Danielson's career best
  • Fired a 4-under 66 in the second round of the NCAA Championships, the third-best score of the day
  • Defeated Texas' Toni Hakula 1-up to clinch Illinois' 3-2 win over the Longhorns in the NCAA quarterfinal match on May 31
  • Topped California's Joel Stalter 3 & 2 in the NCAA semifinal match on June 1
  • Posted a career-best round of 7-under-par 65 in the first round of the NCAA Fayetteville Regional
  • Tied for fifth at the NCAA Regional with a career best-tying 216
  • Posted a 72.67 average in four fall tournaments, including career-best scores of 216 at the Wolf Run Invitational and Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational
  • Finished in the top 30 in nine of 11 tournaments he has played, and has five top-10 finishes
