CHAMPAIGN, IL. – Sophomores Connor McCool, Evan Manivong, graduate student Danny Graham, and juniors Ian Skirkey and Hamish Carter were named College Gymnastics Association regular-season All-Americans Thursday afternoon.
Connor McCool was named an All-American in floor exercise holding a 14.400 national qualifying average, good for eighth in the country. McCool has earned two event titles on the floor this season and holds a season-high of 14.550.
Evan Manivong was named an All-American on the vault holding a national qualifying average of 14.717, good for sixth in the country. Manivong has claimed four vault titles on the season, and set his career-high of 14.750 twice this season.
Danny Graham was named an All-American on still rings holding a national qualifying average of 14.083, good for sixth in the country. Graham has claimed four rings titles on the season and holds a season-high score of 14.200 on the event.
Ian Skirkey was named an All-American on the pommel horse sporting a 13.950 national qualifying average, good for sixth in the country. Skirkey has captured two event titles on the horse this season and holds a season-high score of 14.550 on the event.
Hamish Carter was named an All-American on both the high bar and all-around holding national qualifying averages of 13.867 and 81.433 on the events, good for second and eighth in the country. Carter has captured two titles each in both high bar and all-around this season. He set a new career-high in the all-around vs Michigan and Nebraska with a score of 83.550, and holds a season high 14.400 on the high bar.
