CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Just in time for last minute gift ideas, the Illinois Athletics Ticket Office will hold a Father's Day Flash sale for Fighting Illini football tickets to the season opener vs. Kent State. Tickets will go on sale for $9.99 each for a 24-hour period beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13.

What better way to celebrate the patriarch of your family than with an Illinois football experience. Tickets will be delivered immediately to your email with plenty of time before the Father's Day holiday.

Head coach Lovie Smith and the 2018 Illinois will kick off the new season on Sept. 1 vs. the Kent State Golden Flashes for an 11 a.m. start.

The $9.99 price is available when purchasing four or more tickets to the season opener, and will be allocated in the Orange and Blue Zones of Memorial Stadium.

SEASON TICKETS: A number of season ticket options are currently on sale in the Illinois ticket office. Tickets for all six home games for reserved seats are $299 in the prime area, $225 on the sideline, $249 in the orange zone and $119 in the horseshoe and blue zone. Fans can also purchase mobile pass season tickets for $99, which provide ticket holders guaranteed seats, but in a different location each game. The final option is the I FUND 4 Pack for $299 and includes four tickets, a parking pass and I FUND membership. Tickets can be purchased on FightingIllini.com.
