Hello Illini!

The result at regionals was certainly not what we wanted and although it was disappointing, we could not have been more proud of ourselves and how hard we fought. We were extremely driven and motivated by each other; all of us knew we were playing for something bigger than ourselves. Our regular season was one of the best in program history; it took us time to learn about each other and grow as a team, and we really believed and trusted each other by the time post season came. I think regionals was one of the most memorable tournaments for us as a team. The seniors will certainly cherish that last tournament, and it is also a great springboard for the program next year. 

Growing up in Thailand, the opportunity to study abroad was extremely special but to be able to play golf and get a great education from one of the top schools in the nation was over the top. It is no doubt that I have grown so much as a player under the guidance of Coach Slone and Coach Coluccio, and I have received one of the best educations in the world. But more than golf and school, these four years have been an invaluable life experience and I have grown so much as a person. The last four years at Illinois have shaped and made me the person that I am now.
