CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Fighting Illini women's gymnastics team will travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Saturday, April 7 for the NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional. "I think it is going to be really good for us because we have seen a majority of these teams already," head coach Nadalie Walsh. "We have placed really well against these teams and I think the girls are really pumped up for the postseason."

Illinois will begin the meet on bars. Competition begins at 4 pm CT inside Coleman Coliseum. Tickets are available for purchase here.

The Illini are coming off a third-place finish at the Big Ten Championships on Saturday evening. Illinois currently sits at No. 23 in the Road to Nationals rankings with an RQS of 196.625. Last year, UI hosted the NCAA Champaign Regional where the Illini placed fourth with a team score of 195.825.
