Freshman Trent Frazier poured in a career-high 32 points against Wisconsin on Thursday, the third best freshman scoring performance in program history (34 Deon Thomas vs. Wisconsin-Milwaukee, 12/3/1990; 33 Kiwane Garris vs. Iowa, 1/19/94).
Frazier hit 10-of-20 shots against the Badgers, including 7-of-11 from three-point range, tied for fifth most 3FG in a game in Illinois history. It was Frazier's second time making seven in a game (7 vs. Iowa), making him the second player in program history to have two 7+ three-pointer games in a single season (Kevin Turner 1997-98).

• Frazier has been the Illini's leading scorer over the last 15 games, averaging 17.0 points (255) with 3.0 assists (30), 1.7 steals (26) while shooting 41.9 percent from 3-point range (39-93). All numbers are up significantly from his first 10 games as an Illini – 5.8 ppg, 2.6 apg, 1.2 spg, 12.9 percent 3FG (4-31).
• Frazier ranked eighth on the Illini in scoring through the season's first 10 games at 5.8 ppg. Following the 15-game scoring binge he now ranks second on the team with an average of 12.5 points on the season.
• Frazier has scored in double figures in eight straight games and 14 of the last 15 games overall.
• Frazier's 12.5 points per game currently ranks as the fourth-highest freshman scoring average in program history
