Former Illini Michael Kosta Makes 'Daily Show' Debut

Kosta competed for the Orange and Blue from 1999-2002.

Former Illini men's tennis player, Michael Kosta, was named the newest correspondent on Comedy Central's 'The Daily Show with Trevor Noah'. Kosta was a four-year letterwinner for the Orange and Blue from 1999-2002. A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Kosta helped the Illini win four Big Ten Championships from 1999-2002 and reach the NCAA quarterfinals three times. Kosta remains a staple in the Illinois tennis record books in most singles wins in a career (11th), most combined wins in a career (15th), most team doubles wins in a season (10th) and most singles wins in a season (5th).
