CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Illinois women's golf team will play in the Big Ten Women's Golf Championships in Mainesville, Ohio, set for Friday-Sunday, April 21-23. The 54-hole tournament will be played at the Par 72, 6,357 yard TPC River's Bend.
The 29th-ranked Fighting Illini will compete against No. 12 Northwestern, No. 24 Purdue, No. 30 Ohio State, No. 33 Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Maryland, Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers and Wisconsin.
The tournament has a 'play six, count four' scoring format. The lineup for Illinois at the Big Ten Championships will be Dana Gattone, Swing Liu, Stephanie Miller, Grace Park, Jan Prapassarangkul and Bing Singhsumalee.
The first round of play will begin Friday at 7:30 a.m. CT, with the second round set for 7:30 a.m. CT on Saturday and the final 18 holes are slated for 7 a.m. CT on Sunday.
