Illini senior among elite scorers in program history
With 21 points in Illinois' 70-66 win at Iowa on Saturday, senior guard Malcolm Hill became the seventh player in Illinois history to reach the 1,700 point milestone. He finished the game with exactly 1,700 points, moving past Eddie Johnson (1,692) on the UI all-time scoring list.
Hill, who is averaging 16.9 points per game this season, has scored double-figures in 21 straight games and is on pace to finish his career in the top four if he continues his current scoring output. Next on the top-10 list is Demetri McCamey, at 1,718 points.
