For the season, the 6-10 big man from Springboro, Ohio, is averaging 10.4 points per game and shooting 60% from the field. Over the last five games he's gone up another notch, averaging 15.0 points per game.
In Big Ten play (6 games), Morgan is averaging 13.3 points per game and shooting 59.6 percent from the field, second-best in the league. He scored a season-high 19 points in the Braggin' Rights win over Missouri on Dec. 21.
Morgan averaged 1.5 and 2.5 points per game during his first two season in orange and blue, but came on strong at the end of his junior season in 2015-16, averaging 12.0 points over the final 12 games of the season, including 13.8 ppg over the last five. He finished the season with an 8.3 ppg average.
