CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The Illinois baseball team will host an open scrimmage Saturday at 10:40 a.m. prior to the Illinois football game against North Carolina (6:30 p.m.). The scrimmage is part of the Fighting Illini's fall practice schedule that runs through the end of September.Â
Schedule – Players will begin batting practice around 9 a.m. with the scrimmage to follow at approximately 10:40 a.m. Fans can begin entering Illinois Field at 9 a.m.
Entrance – Fans must enter the facility through the left field gate. The gate is next to the clubhouse off of the gravel parking lot.
Bathrooms – Portable toilets will be available in the grass lot (Lot 42) next to the field. The concourse bathrooms will be locked.Â
Parking – The lots around baseball are pass lots only due to the 6:30 p.m. Illinois football game against North Carolina. Pay parking is available in Lot 49 (east of the softball field) for $20. Gameday Guide
