Pedrya Seymour and Aja Evans took in UNC football game
Although it's the offseason for Fighting Illini Women's Track & Field, the team had plenty to brag about during the Illinois football game Saturday night. 2016 Olympic finalist Pedrya Seymour back on campus and 2014 Olympic bronze medalist Aja Evans were both inside Memorial Stadium to see the Illini battle North Carolina. While Seymour was honored for her accomplishments at the Rio Games this past summer, Evans showed off her 2014 Sochi medal and talked about the positive progress she's seeing in the athletic department.

After taking sixth at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, 100m hurdler Pedrya Seymour was honored during a timeout on Saturday night. The red-shirt junior ranks second on Illinois' all-time list with a time of 12.64.

Aja Evans Returns
A five-time All-American and three-time Big Ten Champion in the shot put, Aja Evans began competing in the bobsled after graduating from the University of Illinois. In 2014, Evans represented Team USA at the Sochi Winter Games, leading her team to a bronze medal in the event. Back on campus this weekend, Evans spoke of her excitement regarding the changes being made in the athletic department.
