Illini Football Training Camp Day 2
August 5, 2016 | Football
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Lovie Smith and the Fighting Illini football team hosted their second training camp practice on Friday. The Orange and Blue were on the practice fields next to Memorial Stadium for about 2 hours in the afternoon following meetings and work in the weight room throughout the morning.
As training camp rolls on, Illini student-athletes are still finishing up final exams for the summer session at the University of Illinois.
"We have guys still with a few finals to take," Smith said. "Tomorrow will be the last day for that and then it'll be all football until the fall semester starts."
The Fighting Illini return to the practice fields on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. All Training Camp practices are open to the public and free to attend.
